William Walker

William (Bill) Scott Walker, 58, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, surrounded by those he loved. Born on November 28, 1967 to Robert Eugene and Ruth Pauline Walker. Bill graduated from Halls High School along with a lifelong friend, Bob Weaver. Bill received multiple awards for his work as an insurance adjuster. He was a devoted husband and a family man to his wife, Janet Walker. A devoted father to his children from his previous marriage with Cindy Walker. In recent years, Bill battled kidney disease and other health challenges with courage and dignity. Bill is survived by his mother, Ruth Pauline Walker; wife, Janet Walker; children Caitlyn, Keegan, Kelsey, Marcel and Rabboni; and siblings Robert E. Walker, Jr. married to Mitzi, Lisa Baker married to Marty, and Terry Walker married to Coleen. He is preceded in death by father Robert Eugene Walker and sister Charlotte Corum.

Receiving of friends will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 7:00 p.m. at Highland View Baptist Church, 8750 Highland View Road, Knoxville, TN 37938.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation may be made in Bill's memory.
