Wendy Irene Bailey

Feb 20, 1964 — Aug 29, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we remember and celebrate the life of Wendy Bailey, a loving sister, daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, and coworker whose life touched so many people.

Wendy attended Halls High School before continuing her education at the University of Tennessee. She carried on the relationships and experiences she gained throughout her life with her and was proud to call East Tennessee home.

Above all else, Wendy loved her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Christopher and Hannah (Patrick Relford). She was a proud grandmother to Kaylee, Enzley, and Georgia Relford. She spent over two decades with Jerome Collins, whom she appreciated and loved dearly. She left behind her mother, Janice Moretto; brother, Floyd Moretto; sister-in-law, Kathy, who is adored very much; and sister, Sheridee Love. Wendy absolutely loved her nieces and nephews Joey Moretto, Holston, Rachele (Thomas) Wiley, Everly, Blakely, Summit, Dillon (Cheyanne) Moretto, Craig (Jesse), Olivia, Denny, Dalton, and Garrett Rodgers.

Wendy dedicated 25 years to Kelsan, where she truly enjoyed both her work and the people she worked with. Her coworkers were an important part of her life, and throughout the years she built friendships and relationships that meant so much to her.

Wendy had a love for the simple and beautiful thing in life. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, whether she was growing vegetables or tending to beautiful flowers. She loved hiking and taking in the beauty of nature. She also enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, and taking trips with her family, creating memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who loved her.

Wendy will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, the friendships she built throughout her life, and the joy she found in spending time with the people she loved most. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, coworkers, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Though Wendy may no longer be with us in person, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever.

We are having a celebration of life on September 14th from 6 to 8 pm. at the Bridgewater Place.
