Terry Lynn Carroll, 52, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on April 18, 2026.

Terry’s life was not without its challenges, but he will be remembered for his enduring spirit, the love he held for his children, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ott and Dorothy Wrinkle; his father, Lowell Carroll; his mother and stepfather, Tom and Peggy Cheatham; and his aunt and uncles, Karen Drake, Billy Wrinkle, and Gary Wrinkle.

Terry is survived by his son, Travis Carroll and wife Jillian; his daughter, April Humphrey and husband Matt; and his cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn Humphrey, and Kinley and Carson Carroll. He is also survived by his brother, Shawn Carroll; his sister, Jessica Felton; his nieces and nephews, Braden, Jacob, and Kaitlyn Carroll; his cousin, Charles Wrinkle; and his best friend, Mark Thress.

Terry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of football, loved watching NASCAR, and could often be found enjoying episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. His moto in life was “BURN THE TIRES OFF EVERYTHING.”

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 1st, 2026 from 5-7 at The Crossing Church in Kodak with service to follow, Pastor Kermit McPeek officiating.
