Stephanie Marie Cange

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Marie Cange, 32. She passed away unexpectedly on July 25th, 2026 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Stephanie was born on October 5th, 1993 to Suzanne and Neale Cange and raised in Scarborough, Maine. She attended Scarborough High School and graduated in 2012.

From Maine, Stephanie relocated to Hawaii, a place she came to love and call home. Throughout her life, she remained passionate and dedicated to health and fitness. She built her community around friendships she made in the gyms she attended across the country and various nutrition shops she worked in. Stephanie was hard working and lived each day serving and caring for others. When she was not in the gym, she devoted much of her time working at shelters, offering compassion, hope and support to those in need.

Some of Stephanie’s prized possessions included her collection of Yetis and Build-a-Bears. She could always be seen with a Yeti in her hand and was the first to know about new product launches. Her enjoyment in making Build-a-Bears was a reflection of her playful spirit and loving heart. She loved sharing her passions with others and would go above and beyond - traveling across the country to locate health products or a new color Yeti for herself or her friends. Stephanie was generous and one of the most thoughtful people anyone could have the privilege of knowing. Even while living in Hawaii she knew the day Martels, her favorite ice cream shop in Maine, opened and would send money to make sure her niece and nephew were treated.

Stephanie is survived by her loving parents, Suzanne and Neale Cange, and her sisters Bridget Cange (Kevin McDermott), Christina Cange-Ferreira (Jesse Ferreira, niece and nephew Ellie and Connor Ferreira) and Sarah Johnston and her family, extended family members, and many dear friends.
