Ronnie Lee Pointer, A man of true grit, age 70, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday May 8th peacefully surrounded by family. A devoted father, loving grandfather, and cherished brother, Ronnie will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved daughter, Christy Pointer, and son, Ronnie Pointer Jr.; his son-in-law, Andrew Hill; and his treasured grandsons, Brayden Pointer and Colton Hill. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Diguls and Vicky Tackett; his brother, Mike Pointer; and his brother-in-law, John Boy. Ronnie leaves behind his several neices and nephews, along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Ronnie’s life was one of quiet dedication to family and community. Whether sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or simply being present, his impact was deeply felt by all who knew him.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
