Ronald Steppen

It is with great sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Ronald J. Steppen, age 62 of Strawberry Plains, TN on July 25th, 2025. He was born to parents Frank and Marilyn Steppen on the 23rd of October 1962 in Ellington, Conn. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Steppen. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Steppen of Florida. Also left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 42 years, Kay Steppen, Children Joshua ( Stephanie) Steppen of Strawberry plains Tennessee, Shaun (Jen) Stuart of Florida, Lisa Fries of Texas, and Laurie (Sean) Gay of Knoxville Tennessee. Siblings: Billy(Kimberly) Steppen , Russell (Marcy) Steppen, Valerie Abelin, Cathy (Steve) Snyder. A host of grandchildren to include 10 grandkids and 12 great grandkids with special mention of Karson and Zane Steppen who loved working alongside him in the wood shop. Special mention of friends of forty plus years, Bob and Joann Yerrick of Michigan. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27th from 5-7:00 pm at Alice Bell Baptist church located at 3305 Alice Bell Rd. Knoxville, TN 37917.
