Reece Anthony Brooks, age 57, of Claiborne County, passed away peacefully at his home in Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine "Carol" Brooks; his grandparents, Emma and William Brooks, and Meladine and Claude Ernest Goldsmith.
Reece was a man always on the move—chasing sunsets in the west and watching sunrises in the east, with a new story for every mile. A large part of his life was spent behind the wheel, far from home, working hard to provide a better life for his family. When he wasn't on the road, you could find him by a campfire. Reece had a deep love for the outdoors—camping with family, target shooting, traveling, visiting the race track, and adventuring with his beloved dog, Buster, always by his side. He is now on his last haul, traveling perfect roads that never end. His spirit is free, his heart song strong, and his trucker’s soul forever long.
Reece is survived by: His father, Thomas "Dewey" Brooks
Daughter, Angela Brooks Saunders (Justin)
Son, Bobby Brooks (Melissa)
