Paul John Pate , age 64 , born in Chicago Illinois . Passed away June 21 , 2 0 2 2 , at his home in Knoxville Tennesse e .

Paul was a loving father , uncle , brot h er , grandfathe r , Son and friend . In his spare time he loved playing spades , dominoes and clearing the pool table . His sense of humor would light up a r oom . His commitment to helping others ex ceeded everything he did in l if e . If you needed Paul at any time of day or night he was always the r e; n o questions asked . His fa v orite color was blue and h e loved wearing hats of all sorts . He was also one of the best Step p ers in our family.

Paul proceeded in death by his parents Mary Sidney P atel (mother ) , Vernell P ate ( father) & his sister Phyllis White . Paul leaves behind to cherish his loving memories his wife Michelle Huley, sisters Vernell Davis , Olivia Wheeler , and Dawn Grumbach , ( Leroy Grumbach ) and brot h ers Christopher Pate ( Lucy pate ), and Vernon Pate . Also will be missed by his loving children , Timika Thompson , Shmara Pate , Mary Sanders , Dawn Pate , Myron H uley , Deris Huley , Donte Huley , Jasmine Huley , Jamal Huley , Jamikka Huley , Marquez Huley , Christian Huley , Crystal Huley , and Dominique Huley; i n addition to many grandchildren , nieces and nephews and friends .
