Mary Anna Purdom Letsinger

Mary Ann Purdom Letsinger, a beloved mother, nana, sister, aunt, wife, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Mary Ann was known for her warm heart, quick wit, and the simple joys that made life special. She adored sipping on her favorite Diet Cokes, finding thrills in scary movies, watching the Hallmark channel, and sharing her love for cooking with family and friends. Her home was made brighter by the companionship of her loyal dog, Bella, and her sweet cat, Izzy, who were always by her side.

She is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Kimberly Floyd of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Jessie “Tooter” Purdom Jr. of Shelbyville, TN and Michael Wiley of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Jessie “Sissy” Hargrove of Lewisburg, TN; and her treasured granddaughters, Kyra Letsinger Goodman of Nashville, TN, Ansley Letsinger of Knoxville, TN, and Alexius Spradlin of Johnson City, TN. Her love also lives on through her nieces, Jessica Allen of Seymour, TN , Jennifer Cousins of Lenoir City, TN, Lori Atchley of Taft, TN and her nephew, Alonzo Hargrove of Lewisburg, TN, who will forever remember her fondly.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Herman Purdom and Ada Marie Purdom; brothers, Jimmy Purdom and Ronald Purdom; sister, Jessie Lee Gipson; her son, Steven Letsinger; and her husband, Marshall Letsinger.

Mary Ann’s spirit will be remembered in the laughter of her family, the recipes passed down through generations, and the countless moments of comfort and joy she brought to those who loved her.

Her family finds peace in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her, and her memory will forever remain in their hearts.
