Lisa Ann Watson Davis, affectionately known as "Savage," passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Born on October 27, 1969, she lived a life marked by warmth, strength, and a fighting spirit that left an indelible impression on all who knew her.

Lisa was known for her memorable and unique laugh, one that could light up any room. She was a person of nonjudgmental nature, always approaching life and others with an open heart. A true lover of literature, Lisa often got lost in her good books, immersing herself for days at a time in stories that fueled her imagination and deepened her understanding of the world. She also cherished hunting and fishing excursions, found joy in the soulful sounds of Tom Petty and Janis Joplin, and was an avid supporter of Tennessee football. A curious detail that brought warmth and laughter to those close to her was her pronounced and extreme dislike of spaghetti, a quirk that became a charming part of her unique personality.

Family was central to Lisa’s life. She took immense pride in her greatest accomplishment: her children to be good, kind-hearted people. Her devotion extended to working with animals on weekends, showcasing her nurturing spirit beyond her immediate family. Lisa was blessed with the love and companionship of her children Kristina Ward, Candace Coleman (Chris), Dave Vanover (Bernadette), Nicholas Owens, Sarah Cook (Danny), and eleven grandchildren who will carry her legacy forward with love. Her close family bonds included a special relative, Casey Garner, as well as lifelong friendships with Dino White, a beloved friend since childhood, and close friends Sandra Turner and Heather Elliot, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Lisa's life was enriched by the memories and foundations laid down by those who preceded her in death including her father Bobby Watson, her grandfather Robert Watson, and her aunt Betty Phipps. Their influence and love helped shape the remarkable woman Lisa became.

Her passing leaves a void in the lives of many, but the memories of Lisa’s nonjudgmental kindness, her vibrant laughter, and the joy she found in her passions and family will eternally resonate. She was a remarkable individual whose presence was a gift to everyone around her. The community and her loved ones mourn her loss deeply, yet celebrate the fullness of her life and the enduring impact she made.
