John Alfred Steiner

John Alfred Steiner, born on September 23, 1965, in Lexington, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 3, 2025. He was 59 years old.

John was a devoted father to his daughter, Blaine Steiner, with whom he was looking forward to spending more time after recently relocating to Tennessee. His love for family was evident in every interaction and moment shared with them.

His younger brother, Jay Steiner, survives him, sharing a bond that extended beyond countries' borders. Together, they fondly remembered their childhoods spent with their parents in both Massachusetts and Newfoundland, Canada. 

John's spirited personality shone through in his dark and quirky sense of humor, bringing joy and levity to those around him. He was not only a vibrant member of his family but also of the wider community, largely due to his enthusiasm for the United States Marine Corp. It was through this experience that he forged lasting friendships, many of whom became as close as family.

An avid reader, John found solace in the simplicity of enjoying a good book outside in the sun, particularly relishing the warm Tennessee weather. His passions reflected his quiet happiness and appreciation for the world around him.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Steiner, and his father, John William Steiner. Their memories remain cherished as part of the legacy he leaves behind. As we remember John Alfred Steiner, we celebrate a life marked by humor, love, and the enduring connections he made with those fortunate enough to know him.
