John William Jennings “Bubba,” 55, passed away the evening of March 19, 2026, at his home. He was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on January 21, 1971. He was the son of Sue Barker. John honorably served in the United States Navy as a BMSN on the USS Supply. He was a diesel mechanic at Tri-Star Towing and Transport. He enjoyed cruising, spending time with his family, along with a cold Yuengling Flight in his hand. John was the life of the party, you would never see him without a smile on his face, and he would do anything to help anyone. John is survived by the love of his life, his wife Kimberly of 23 years. They have four children together who he cherished, Miranda (Jacob), John “CJ” (Taylor), Montanna (Aiden), Lacee (Bradley); he cherished his grandchildren, Darrius, Drakke, Jojo, Ellie; he was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Samuel Colten; his mother, Sue Barker; his siblings, Tony Jennings, Sheri Brooks (Toney), Amy Maynard (Burnie), Jennifer Copley (Jeremy); and a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored. John’s impact on the lives of others continues, as he was a tissue donor.
Per John’s final request, there will be a celebration of life with a firework show in his honor on March 27th, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. at his home.
