In Loving Memory of Jerry Conard
Jerry Conard, age 60, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on July 4, 2026, as a result of an accident. He was surrounded by the love of his family in his final moments.
Jerry was born on January 24, 1966, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a graduate of South Young High School and was known by all who knew him as a man of perseverance. No matter the obstacles he faced, Jerry kept going and never gave up. Through every season of life, he remained steadfast in his faith, always trusting in the Lord. Jerry was saved, and his unwavering faith was a source of strength and hope throughout his life.
He was a kind, friendly man with a warm smile who truly never met a stranger. Jerry had a gift for making people feel welcome and was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer an encouraging word. His positive spirit and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Jerry found great joy in God’s creation. He loved spending time outdoors, enjoyed animals, and was passionate about sports. He was an especially devoted Tennessee Volunteers football fan and proudly cheered on the Vols every chance he got.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Medford Eugene Conard; his mother, Lana Gail (Moore) Conard; and his brother, Jason Ronald Conard.
He leaves behind his beloved son, Tristan B. Conard; his former wife, Sherry Conard; his brother Joseph Conard; his niece Victoria K. (James) Maier and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at City View Baptist Church, 2311 Fine Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with the memorial service following from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in honor of Jerry’s life to City View Baptist Church’s Homeless Ministry. The family deeply appreciates your prayers, love, and words of encouragement during this difficult time. Though Jerry will be greatly missed, those who knew and loved him find comfort in knowing that his faith became sight and that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.
