Jane Boffa, a beloved matriarch, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, passed away gently on July 19, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee, surrounded by her treasured family. She was born on October 5, 1957, in Brookfield, Illinois, and her journey through life was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.

For 25 years, Jane dedicated herself to Jewel Food Store, where she distinguished herself in various management roles. Her professional legacy is a testament to her strong work ethic and leadership qualities, traits that she carried over into her personal life and relationships. Her career was just one facet of a multifaceted individual who cherished the time spent with those she held dear.

Jane’s personality radiated warmth; she was a caring and loving figure who enjoyed the simple pleasures of laughter and companionship. She had a gift for creating joy and spreading happiness, and her fondness for travel added layers of shared memories that her family will cherish forever. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Boffa; their children, Thomas Boffa, and his wife Rosa Boffa; Allie Boffa Schwartz, and her husband Todd Schwartz; and Joseph Boffa Jr. As a grandmother, she delighted in her granddaughters, Khloie Boffa, Samantha Schultz Boffa, Amora Boffa, and Genesis Boffa, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Jane’s siblings and their families also mourn her loss, including her sister Cathy Keable Feddor and brother-in-law Ed Feddor; brother Raymond Keable; and brother Ron Keable, alongside a beloved circle of relatives: sister-in-law Angela Ohl and brother-in-law John Ohl, sister-in-law Mary Anne Luczak, and the Bertucci family: Terese and Bob; brother-in-law Vincent Boffa and sister-in-law Arlene; sister-in-law Judy Tarchinski and brother-in-law Mike Tarchinski; sister-in-law Donna Luchesi; and brother-in-law Steve Boffa, and sister-in-law Eileen Boffa, as well as brother-in-law Daniel Boffa. Her extended family included 16 cherished nieces and nephews, each of whom knew Jane’s affection and support.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty Keable, and father, Thomas Keable. She was deeply grieved by the loss of her father-in-law, Steve Boffa, and mother-in-law, Frances Boffa, as well as her brother-in-law, Greg Luczak, her brother-in-law, Al Luchesi, and her brother Robert Keable.

Though Jane has departed from this world, her spirit remains alive through the countless memories she created and the love she shared. Her legacy of compassion and joy will linger in the hearts of all who knew her, providing enduring comfort and unwavering strength to those she leaves behind. For Jane Boffa was not merely a member of her family; she was the heart that bound them all together, a shining light that will continue to illuminate their paths.
