In Loving Memory of Jackie Willard Jones
Jackie Willard Jones, lovingly known as the "Mayor of Bradshaw," passed away in Knoxville, TN, at the age of 81. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Jackie devoted much of his life to service, honor, and hard work, retiring from Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB).
Jackie loved the simple joys of life—spending cherished moments on the porch, camping under starlit skies, relaxing by the lake, and marveling at the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
Jackie was preceded in death by his loving parents, Cotton and Ella Jones; his sister, Gail Jones Williams; his brother, Don Jones, and his wife, Gail Jones; and his daughter-in-law, Pamela Jones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Boone Jones; his son, Tim Jones; his daughter, April Jones, and her fiancé, Jonathon Paiva; his brother, Gary Jones, and his wife, Debbie Jones; and his grandchildren—David Jones and his wife, Kayla Jones; TJ Jones; Trevor Carter and Fiancé Hannah Siedler ; Treval Carter; and Jacob Paiva. Jackie’s legacy also lives on through his great-grandchildren—Bryson Jones, Titan Jones, Khamari Carter, and Kaleia Carter—as well as a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends, and family who will continue to honor his life and spirit.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on May 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Fountain City Park in Knoxville. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his remarkable legacy. Joe Hickle will serve as the guest speaker, offering words of remembrance and tribute to Jackie's incredible life.
