Angela "Angie" Purdom, born on October 8, 1962, in Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in Seymour, Tennessee. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing, leaving behind a legacy marked by her warmth, creativity, and the stories she so cherished sharing.
Angie was a woman who always had a story to tell, captivating those around her with her voice and spirit. Though she had no children of her own, she embraced her role as a stepmother wholeheartedly. She loved her stepchildren and their children as if they were her own, and her devotion to them was evident in every moment they shared together.
Her creative talents were a significant part of her life. Angie found joy in crafting and painting, pursuits through which she expressed her vibrant inner world and brought beauty into her surroundings. These hobbies were not only pastimes but reflections of the thoughtful and tender-hearted person she was.
Angela is survived by her sister, Michele Wooliver; her stepdaughters, Jessica Allen and Jennifer Purdom; son-in-law, JC Allen; and her beloved grandsons, Parker Phelps, Cliff Allen, Kody Allen, and Jude Cousins. Their lives were enriched by her affection, wisdom, and the countless memories she helped create.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Purdom, and her parents, Barbara and Homer Wooliver, whose love and guidance shaped much of the foundation upon which Angie built her life.
Angela Purdom's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her stories, her crafts, and the love she gave so freely will continue to inspire and comfort those who were privileged to be part of her journey. She will be remembered not only for the life she led but for the kindness, creativity, and passion that defined her.
