Alaia Mae Marie Dickinson, age 2, passed away on May 5, 2024. Alaia was a bright, fun, loving, and happy child who enjoyed playing outside, arts and crafts, singing baby shark and watching her favorite show, Ms. Rachel.
She is preceded in death by great-great grandparents, Lewis and Zelda Mae Curtis, Clydus Porter, Frank and Dorothy Hitchcock, James W. and Juanita Josephine Martin, and Jesse Lee and Margaret Stone. Great grandparent, Bennie Hitchcock. Great uncles, Jamey Martin, Jubreel A. Versa. Brother, Carter Dickinson, and sister Arianna Martin.
Alaia is survived by her mother, Asha Josephine Martin, and father Devin Dickinson. Grandparents, Dr. Marquis and Zelda Mae Dotson III, Eric and Tabitha Martin, Heather Marie Dickinson, and Darrell Ransom. Great-grandparents, Niquita Hitchcock, Jimmy Ed and Sharon Martin, and Marquis & Alma Dotson Jr., Aunts, Gabriella Ransom, Heiress Dotson, Yasmin Martin, Zakia Nelson and Armani Ball, and uncles, Marquis Dotson IV, Damien Ransom, Antonio Medrano, and Zacharias Nelson. Great aunts, Pasha Versa, Krishna (Reginald) Andrews, Stacy Martin and Drs. Vashti (Trent) Watson many other close and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday May 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Light of Life Ministries International in Athens, TN, with the service to follow beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Frank Walker delivering the eulogy. The interment will follow at Riceville Cemetery, Riceville, TN.
